As a registered Clinical Supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Menny offers supervision to counsellors registered with the ACA and to youth workers and teachers. Menny has extensive experience providing on-site supervision to psychology and counselling students completing their Honours and Master’s degree at the University of Queensland (UQ) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT). This work earned her the title of Industry Fellow with QUT School of Psychology and Counselling.

Menny offers her supervisees a confidential and safe space to reflect on their professional practice. She supports her supervisees with ongoing learning, support and guidance to ensure consistent ethical practice. Her approach is filled with warmth, compassion and she brings an eye for detail, a sense of passion and enthusiasm to the supervisory relationship. Her work is underpinned by a strength-based, solution-focused approach to professional development.

Menny’s evidence-based approach references supervision models including, Integrated Developmental Model [IDM] (Stoltenberg, McNeill & Delworth, 1998); Psychodynamic Approach, Narrative Therapy & Rise Up and Clinical Supervision (Pelling, Barletta & Armstron, 2009). Working from a trauma-informed baseline, Menny assists her supervisees in the prevention of compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

Drawing from her extensive knowledge, Menny employs a multitude of roles with the supervision framework including:

Supervision is offered in both one-on-one supervision or group supervision formats, and can be delivered face-to-face or remotely via phone, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
